In Math, we are working on Fractions, plotting fractions on a number line and measuring using a ruler.
In ELA, we are focusing on Central Idea and Monitoring and asking Clarifying questions.
During Social Studies, we are learning about culture.
Reminders
Check your child's bookbag for their YELLOW HOMEWORK Folder every night. The state test is in 3 weeks. Please have your child reading at home and practicing their Math.

In Math, we are working on Mental Math for Addition and Subtraction. As well as recognizing patterns.
In ELA, we are focusing on Summarizing texts, providing key details and recognizing Text and Graphic Features.
During Social Studies, we are learning about physical features and conservation in our community

YELLOW HOMEWORK Folder every night. The iReady assessment results were given out. The report will give you a detailed account of where your child is academically.

Check your child's bookbag for their homework YELLOW Folder every night. Please read for 30 minutes EVERYDAY. It helps build reading stamina. To build their reading comprehension, ask them questions about what they read.
