3rd Grade 319

Our third-grade scholars are diving into exciting math discussions on multiplication, and division! They’ve been exploring different strategies and proudly sharing how they solve problems with their peers.

We’re so proud of their growth and confidence —please enjoy the videos and pictures showcasing just how amazing and brilliant our young mathematicians are becoming!

The classroom environment plays a critical role in our scholars’ learning and achievement. One of the most effective teaching practices is designing and orchestrating a classroom with intentionality—creating a space where every element supports engagement, curiosity, and academic growth.

Our scholars are actively engaged in Reciprocal Teaching in Mathematics — a research-based learning approach that fosters rich instructional discourse around math word problems. Through this process, scholars strengthen their mathematical critical thinking and develop essential leadership skills that empower them to guide peer discussions with focus and confidence. Each scholar takes on a meaningful leadership role — Predictor, Clarifier, Solver, or Summarizer — cultivating collaboration, communication, and a deep love for learning mathematics
