Principal's Message

 

Dear PS 194 Families, 

Welcome to a new school year! We are excited to welcome our scholars and families back and look forward to a year filled with learning, growth, and joy.

Our theme this year is "Building Bridges, Not Walls." Together, we will work to build bridges of understanding, collaboration, and belonging so that every child feels seen, supported, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.

 

At P.S. 194, building bridges means:

Building strong relationships between students, staff, and families.
Creating classrooms where every student feels a sense of belonging.
Strengthening partnerships that support academic growth and personal success.
Encouraging curiosity, compassion, and respect for one another.
Working together to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.

 

The year ahead will undoubtedly bring opportunities to learn, celebrate, and grow together. I am confident that by building bridges of trust, understanding, and collaboration, we will create meaningful experiences for our children and continue to strengthen the vibrant community that makes P.S. 194 so special.

As we begin this journey, I invite all families to engage actively and meaningfully in our school community. Whether by attending school events, participating in family workshops, communicating regularly with teachers, or volunteering your time and talents, your partnership is essential to our scholars' success. The strongest bridges are built when schools and families work hand in hand.
